MAW Skills Academy inaugurated the first-ever Heavy Equipment Operators (HEO) Training Centre (OTC) in Janakpur on 29 Jan 2020. The OTC, which has been made possible with support from सीप, was inaugurated by Province 2’s Honorable Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut and Honorable Minister of Physical Infrastructure Jitendra Sonal. There was the presence of provincial/local government, representatives from construction companies, and government stakeholders. MAW Skills Academy signed with agreement two municipalities for collaboration in Heavy Equipment Operator Training where municipalities will sponsor needy and underserved youth for the training. The OTC in Janakpur aims to train 360 HEO and Heavy Equipment Mechanics by 2021.
